GYM FACILITY

Custom fitness is game-changing. We’re a smaller, private facility and we know every one of our members. You’ll have full access to our 24hr open gym, spin studio, group classes, run club and personal training. Our job is to help you make a plan specifically designed for your life and your goals. Trainers just don’t get any more experienced and whether you’re a beginner, an athlete - or somewhere in between - you’re in the best possible hands.

MEMBERSHIP PRICING

All memberships include use of the 24hr open gym, full access to the class schedule, Trailblazers run club and access to our luxury showers and saunas. All annual or rolling memberships also include two InBody assessments per year (one every six months.)
All first-time contract members receive 180 minutes PT and our welcome package (see below) - one time only.

COMPOSITION ANALYSIS

InBody provides you with clinically validated accuracy and gives you a true insight into your body composition. This technology allows you to:

  • Determine overall weight, muscle mass and percentage body fat

  • Specifically measure visceral fat (metabolically active fat associated with increased risk of chronic disease)

  • Scientifically establish your Basal Metabolic Rate

  • Determine segmental muscle mass, allowing you to monitor injury recovery or target certain areas for development

  • Measure Extra Cellular Water (ECW) which controls the movement of electrolytes, facilitates oxygen delivery to cells and clears waste from metabolic processes.

COSTS:

All rolling or annual gym memberships include two InBody assessments per year (bi-annually) so that you (and our trainers) can monitor your progress.

Non-members are able to use the technology for an additional fee. We recommend this is done in conjunction with an Initial Consultation with our Nutritionist, Catherine Burns.

Additional tests for Members or Catherine’s Clients: $25

Non-Member first test: $40

Non-Member follow-up test (within 6 months): $35

We recommend InBody tests are done early in the morning, before food, caffeine or exercise. Being normally hydrated with water is recommended.

CLASS SCHEDULE

We have a wide variety of functional classes, designed to advance your strength, definition, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. There’s something for everyone and we frequently change things up. We recently added Les Mills classes to the schedule which have become hugely popular. You can try them all as a Member or with an Unlimited class-pass.

Once you have access, you can quickly book your spots via our online dashboard. We also have an App - just search “Waterfront Wellness” in the App Store and use the same access details as for your web account. So easy!

All classes (except Trailblazers) are available on Zoom as well as in the facility, so you can still take part even if you are traveling or working from home.

10-WEEK BEGINNER’S RUNNING PROGRAM!

TRAILBLAZERS RUN CLUB

Seasonal! We designed Trailblazers as a follow up to Bermuda’s popular Beat the Couch beginner’s running program. Open to all our members and any Beat the Couch graduate, it provides a next-step for intermediate runners who wish to develop their technique, power and endurance, as well as providing accountability and the camaraderie of a group. Entry level suggestion: recent graduate of Beat the Couch, or any member able to run consistently for twenty minutes.

Members rate: Included - you’re welcome!
Non-members rate: $95 monthly (3 month minimum) + includes showers (no gym access)

Training times:

We currently have one Trailblazers session per week as we are out of Season. (Trailblazers takes place immediately after each Beat the Couch program.) However if you are interested in run-training, we can certainly put together a bespoke program for you. Just email us at info@waterfrontwellness.bm.

EXERCISE MEDICINE

Our trainer Oronde Camara has significant experience working to help rehabilitate clients after physical injury or when recovering from illness.  Doctors and physiotherapists are able to liase with Oronde to create a training program suitable for their patients. This is an effective way to establish (or re-establish) strength and fitness in a safe and monitored environment. It’s also vital for building individual confidence.

TEEN FITNESS

Our popular after-school fitness classes give teens the opportunity to improve their fitness, strength, coordination and agility - all while generating some feel good endorphins!

Workouts include: Blaze Pods, Spinning, Circuits, Kickboxing and Yoga for athletes and are suitable for ALL fitness levels.

Classes take place at the gym on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4.00- 5.00pm. Next round begins Sept 19th 2023.

WELL DEFENSE

This is a two part self-defense series with experienced trainers.

In this course you will learn how to prevent unwanted situations, de-escalate confrontation and protect yourself if attacked.
