Our Award-Winning 6-Week Optimum Nutrition Intensive

JANUARY DATES ARE NOW SOLD OUT. PLEASE CHECK BACK HERE FOR MAY DATES SOON!

Daytime (12.30pm) classes in-person or Evening (6pm) classes on Zoom.

NEW: Upgraded Accountability with weekly one to one appointments in addition to classes!

Nutrifit is a science-led, evidence-based protocol that’s less of a diet and more of a lifestyle!  The focus is on clean-eating and real, whole food. Although this is a group program, it’s incredibly flexible in essence – suitable for people of all ages, with any kind of health history, list of allergies or food preferences (vegan, vegetarian, paleo for example.)

Nutrifit will help you lose weight (if you need to), improve your body composition, boost your energy and re-think lifestyle factors that have been standing in your way of success. It’s a great opportunity to learn how nutrition really works so you can make informed choices that impact how well you feel every single day. We’ll teach you our signature preventive health care strategies for balancing blood sugar and improving digestion, as well as giving you all the essential info on antioxidants, detox, the right kind of fats and choosing organics that work within your budget. To make sure that you have a truly holistic overhaul, we also dedicate a week to stress and sleep too.

Nutrifit began in 2008 when Catherine wrote the course as a one-off for a group of clients who all wanted to know one thing – how they could manage their weight in a healthy and sustainable way. By the time the first course was finished, the next one was fully booked and it snowballed from there. Every year the content is reviewed and updated so you can be sure that you’re receiving completely current guidelines within the best practices of Nutritional Therapy. After more than a decade of excellent results, Nutrifit is covered by most Argus, BF&M and CG Insurance health insurance policies.

The program is regularly scheduled through the year for those who want to participate independently. It’s also frequently taught onsite for workplace wellness programs.

Costs vary according to your level of insurance coverage, so please see details below. If you don’t have health insurance please read about our Equalizer Policy.

Equalizer Policy:

We believe that education is the best possible social equalizer. We don’t want financial limitations to restrict your access to our core services and fortunately, extensive insurance coverage helps with that. However, we recognize that some people don’t have the insurance coverage required or may be limited when it comes to co-pays. For this reason, we set aside a certain number of course and consultancy spaces through the year to allocate to people who would otherwise be unable to afford to see us. This is based on an honor system as we don’t means test. If you would like to be added to the waiting list for supported services (including Beat the Couch), please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you as soon as we can. Please note that we are a relatively small entity (with a big heart) and we will do our best without giving our accountant palpitations!

Co-pays for the whole 6 week program:

Argus copay: $215 / Argus Guardian Select copay: $0 - no copay, (Medical Nutrition benefit.)

BF&M copay: $133 (Medical Nutrition benefit.)

CG Insurance: $100 (Holistic Health benefit.)

Please note that it is your responsibility to check that you have available benefits under your policy. Any amount not covered will be billed to you personally. Most health insurance plans have these benefits but it’s worth checking with your provider. Thank you!

Nutrifit exceeded my expectations. The program goes beyond dieting and instead provides you with an immense amount of knowledge around nutrition which altered my eating habits indefinitely. Catherine genuinely cares for her clients...her knowledge in nutrition is exceptional.

GENETIC TESTING

Given it’s influence over health outcomes, as part of your Nutritional Therapy consultation Catherine may recommend genetic testing. It’s also useful for optimising sports performance. Nutrigenomics looks at the interaction between our genes and our diet, which can positively or negatively influence our health and performance. Nutrigenomix is the brand name of a University of Toronto biotechnology company, founded by global leaders in Nutrigenomics. The Nutrigenomix test is non-invasive (saliva sample) and assesses 70 variations in genes that impact an individual’s response to their diet and training. It’s an incredibly useful tool for accelerating results and fine-tuning personalized nutrition guidelines. Reporting can be focused on sports performance, general health or fertility. Please contact Catherine to discuss whether genetic testing is right for you.

Sports Report sample >.

Health Report sample >.

Fertility Report sample >.

Please note that the reports test the same genes, but they differ in the emphasis within the feedback. The sports report is more focused on performance, the health report is more focused on wholistic health and the fertility report looks at pre and antenatal concepts (for women only). However, Catherine is able to apply all sets of knowledge to the reporting in your feedback session so you only need to pick one.

Cost: $399 + consultation copay/

MILES TO GROW

Run by Sam Stan, our Farming & Sustainability Manager, Miles to Grow provides Miles Market and Harry’s restaurant with locally grown hydroponic leaves, picked and delivered daily to maximise nutrient density. Miles to Grow also produces herbs for Harry’s (menu and cocktails!) as well as a variety of seasonal vegetables that are used by chefs across all our kitchens and for a wide range of events. In addition, we believe that the upcoming generation will be vital for the success of Bermuda’s environmental future. As such, we spend time working with children in schools and summer camps to introduce key gardening skills and raise awareness regarding the value of local farming. Sam is also the lead on our environmental focus, helping offset the carbon footprint of our company, benefitting Bermuda locally and as a global contribution.
